Never did manage it!

I never did go to sea in any of the stern trawlers although I always promised myself that I would one day. The nearest I ever got was looking around the Victory when she was new, before her maiden trip, and I liked what I saw. I decided to do 'one more trip' in the ship I was in at the time - and that was it!
